Victor Buck Services is embarking on a strategic Business Intelligence & Data journey.
We are looking for a Senior Developer BI & Power Platform to design, build, and structure our BI ecosystem from scratch.
It is a senior and visible role at the crossroads of IT, finance and business to build from scratch, with a real impact, a BI platform.
This is a rare opportunity to build something new, define standards and foundations, and directly influence how data supports decision-making across the organization.
You will work in close partnership with our Financial Analyst, combining technical excellence and business understanding to deliver meaningful, actionable insights.
You will report to the Chief Information Officer and collaborate closely with IT teams and business stakeholders.
Your mission
You will be in charge of:
Business Intelligence & Analytics
- Design, develop and maintain robust Power BI solutions aligned with business and financial needs;
- Build semantic models, dashboards and management reports for strategic and operational use;
- Automate workflows, data collection and reporting processes;
- Ensure data quality, consistency, performance and reliability;
- Act as a BI reference and promote best practices.
Power Platform Development
- Design and develop Power Apps and Power Automate solutions;
- Contribute to governance, security and lifecycle management.
Data & Architecture Foundations
- Contribute to BI and analytics architecture;
- Design data flows and integration patterns;
- Leverage Microsoft Fabric capabilities when relevant;
- Document models, flows and architectural decisions.
Business Partnership & Advisory
- Work closely with the Financial Analyst on KPIs and performance drivers;
- Act as a trusted BI partner for business stakeholders.
Your profile
To be successful in this role, you need:
Professional experience & technical skills
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent academic background;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in BI development, data engineering or data analytics. An experience within a regulated environment is a strong asset;
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI. An experience with Microsoft Fabric is an asset.
- Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate);
- Strong understanding of BI architecture and data modelling;
- Proven capacity to adapt quickly and perform in environments involving new technology.
Languages
- Full professional proficiency in English. French is an asset.
