VBS is currently looking for a strategic and collaborative Project Portfolio Manager.

As a Project Portfolio Manager, your main objective is to oversee the company’s project portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, accurate prioritization, and effective governance.

You will play a key role in capturing initiatives across teams, facilitating decision-making, and promoting best practices to enhance overall project delivery and resource allocation.

You will report to the Head of Change Management.

Your mission  

  • Manage the project portfolio to ensure alignment with company strategy, accuracy, completeness, and prioritization according to corporate objectives;
  • Liaise with all VBS teams, departments, and Senior Management to capture items for inclusion in the project portfolio;
  • Continuously collect feedback from teams to adapt and improve the framework, processes & tools;
  • Maintain and ensure the application of project portfolio and project management governance;
  • Communicate, train, and coach internal teams on the defined governance, processes & tools;
  • Provide reporting to company management on various components of the project portfolio;
  • Provide staff capacity reporting to support resource allocation by team supervisors/managers;
  • Prepare & steer Portfolio Review Committee & Capacity Planning Committee;
  • Facilitate project portfolio escalation and decision processes;
  • Facilitate coordination and collaboration for change management activities.

Your profile  

  • Professional experience & technical skills:
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in PM, Change Management, or Business Transformation. A first relevant experience as PMO is required.
    • Solid knowledge of portfolio management methodologies and governance frameworks;
    • Strong analytical skills for prioritization, reporting, and resource allocation;
    • Experience with project and portfolio management tools such as Jira, MS Project, or similar;
    • Advanced proficiency with the MS Office Suite and digital collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint).
  • Languages:
    • Fluent in English (spoken and written); French is a strong asset and German is a nice to have.
  • Soft skills:
    • High sense of autonomy and accountability, with a commitment to building trust with stakeholders at all level of the company through responsible actions;
    • Excellent leadership and facilitation abilities for cross-team collaboration;
    • Strategic and feedback-oriented approach to evolving governance;
    • Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management and coaching skills;
    • Resilient and comfortable navigating complex organizational dynamics.
